Jean Lépine, Toronto
A proud Franco-Ontarian, Mr. Jean Lépine holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario (EMBA 2002) and a Bachelor of Social Sciences, with a minor in Political Science, from the University of Ottawa, where he played university hockey from 1984 to 1989.
During his career of over ten years in the federal and provincial (Ontario) governments, Mr. Lépine discovered his passion for serving Canadians, namely while working alongside Léo Duguay, elected in the riding of Saint Boniface.
At Queens Park, Mr. Lépine served as Chief of Staff to the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Minister of Francophone Affairs before joining the Prime Minister's Office.
For nearly twenty years, Mr. Lépine has worked in the private sector in Canada, the United States and Europe. He has established himself as a leader in communications, government relations, investor relations and sustainability. He has worked for world-renowned companies, such as AstraZeneca, AB InBev, and HARMAN (Samsung).
Mr. Lépine was also involved in TFO’s mandate as a political analyst on the show Panorama. In the early 2000s, he also worked closely with Claudette Paquin, former CEO of TFO, on an MBA project to explore new sources of revenue for the Franco-Ontarian media company.
