Dominique Giguère, a doctor of adult education, is co-president of Currents Group, a firm specializing in organizational development for non-profit organizations (NPOs). An expert consultant in governance, performance, learning, and culture, she offers her services in various sectors of activity and in organizations working at the local, regional, and international levels. Her clients include global humanitarian organizations such as Médecins Sans Frontières and the UN, national Aboriginal theater companies and local volunteer organizations dedicated to environmental causes.
Since 1999, Ms. Giguère has contributed to the development of e-learning tools in several sectors through a strategic approach, efficient use of resources, and the creation of partnerships. She was one of the first technopedagogues hired by TVOntario to support the introduction of new learning technologies at the post-secondary level.
Beyond her experience at TVO, Ms. Giguère has several years of senior management experience in the Ontario public sector through executive positions at Seneca College and the provincial agency WSIB. She has also served as Deputy Mayor of Malahide Township in Southwestern Ontario since 2018.
